HAWK is a non-profit organization.
Unless you have the proper permits, possession of wild bird feathers is illegal
It is the Vision of HAWK to provide a centralized facility
for wildlife rehabilitation specializing in raptors,
and to provide environmental education to local communities.
Further, it is the Mission of HAWK to provide for the health and welfare
of injured and orphaned wild animals through wildlife rehabilitation
and public educational presentations.

In November of 2004, HAWK will be hosting the IWRC  Basic Wildlife Rehabilitation Skills course for the third time, this time in conjunction with the Arkansas Game & Fish Commission and the Central Arkansas Wildlife Sanctuary.  It will be held just west of Little Rock at the Vines 4-H Center in Ferndale, Arkansas
